Discussion of Promotoras joining in CO work group meeting or staying with HWG
Concern that we might not talk about the strategies related to health that need to be discussed.
ECE would be a good place for the health insurance piece to be worked on.
Anna – regardless of what happens, the Promotoras program should remain well connected to the CO work group. We will send a rep to this meeting every month.
One strategy is evolving into a resident-led work group (brining residents from different groups to guide the process)
Kerry – we need a place to send people, a collaborative space. Anna agreed. In Lawrence, they have such a space.
Elena - the cultural center will provide live/work space. There could be space for the LSAC. Elena will bring a diagram of the space to the JC meeting.
