Work Group Charge
- What is expected of the work groups in preparation for the February Collaborative meeting?
- Jennie report on housing meeting.
- Elements of work plan: determine which outcomes and indicators are falling within the work group.
- Fred- Concrete work plan by lat spring early summer.
- Feb: Who is taking on what approach and developing strategies.
- Mar: Strategies development
- Apr: Partners
- May: Work with partners to develop work plans
- David- Should not work by work groups- Divide work into three areas.

- Economic Development
- 23rd Avenue
- Safety
- Core Priorities:
- Policing
- Health
- Criminal Justice

- Pre-School
- Priorities developed by resident engagement process ( EBAYC, ESAA, Media Committee)
- Collapse other work groups into these three broad areas of work.
- Should collect data, look for opportunities, identify threats, identify partners, and test ideas with residents.
- Jennie- There is concern about losing existing work in the smaller work groups.
- Fred- Current project need to be linked to indicators. Need a subjective examination of whether current projects are moving us in the right directions. Workgroups think about how current work in linked to indicators and is making a difference.
- Randy- Work groups should present to the planning committee. The planning committee should make the difficult decisions about priorities.
- Jennie- Projects need to be informed by residents.
- Elena- Community Engagement and Outreach should be its own cluster.
- Collaborative meets on a quarterly basis to share information. The Policy Committee should attend to how all of this stuff is working.
- Planning Committee should take responsibility for outcomes and indicators that have to do with resident engagement.
