- EITC- Jennie knows of a good curriculum
Eureka Fellowship Opportunity
- Mariano suggested a cohort of directors go through
- Cynthia looking for funding- Request needs to come through the collaborative
- Matrix is focused on organization support where Eureka is focused on individual support.
- Proposal to invite someone who has gone through the training to July collaborative meeting.
Committee Updates
- MLHOC- Peer match in Seattle
- Housing Committee- Meeting with Policy Link next Thursday
- 23rd Avenue- UE process
- Health- APEN did a quick survey and identified housing and education as top priorities. Plan to work on housing in East Lake.
- ESAA- Look at enrollment and county health book
- Lao Family- Survey with La Clinica to see if refugees were getting health care services.
- ESAA Report- BAE finished report. This could be useful for folks in the collaborative. David and Elena looking at young folks between 17 and 22 in youth voice programs that were not re-funded this past year. She is interested in figuring out how to integrate those people in to FSYD work. EBALDC interested in mixed use space in the LSA.
Report from Outcomes Development Ad Hoc Work Group
- Fred reported on the last meeting.
- Jennie- Is resident engagement an outcome in itself or implicit in all areas?
- Fred- Question is how can you get legitimacy for things you want to do in the neighborhood. What level of engagement does the collaborative need to have to get buy-in to the outcomes.
- Pat- Need to identify different dynamic in different communities. Need to find out how they want to participate. They may not just be coming to meetings.
- Should start by input from workgroups and organizations in the neighborhood.
Next Steps on Resident Engagement and Outcomes Development
- Should create a template or model for organizations and workgroups to collect information from their constituencies.
- In the July collaborative meeting people should present their organizational and constituency priorities. The questions to be answered are:
- How does your organization develop priorities?
- What are they?
- How are you acting on them?
