LSAC Work Plan

• Is there money available for bringing new people/organizations on board? [Concern expressed that people won’t have the commitment if they just come on board for $.]
• We need to identify people and agencies that might be interested.
• Think about asking for TA $ to help determine what the goals are, strategic planning, etc.
• Some possible baselines:
• # of children with BMI over ___
• % of eligible families enrolled in food stamp programs
• % of pregnant mothers with access to nutrition programs such as WIC
• % of diabetics; % of diabetics in care, with access to care, etc.
• % of HIV positive residents
• Decision to focus baselines on health insurance enrollment, food stamp program enrollment and childhood obesity levels.
• Mara will ask David and Samantha about linking to their Health Eating, Active Communities grant.
