Announcements:

• For updates on the Active Living, Healthy Eating grant, keep in touch with David and Samantha.
• Francell will check with CAPE of Alameda County for data relating to our work.

Promotoras Update:

• Kristen reported that the Promotoras group has been having weekly meetings and have maintained an interest in working on diabetes issues. They are talking about incorporating an informal “survey” of residents into their work and thinking about ways of getting information out into the community. They are also thinking about using diabetes work as a way to open the door for Promotoras to work on other health issues in the LSA.

LSAC Updates

1. Overview of Joint Committee meeting
• Mara and Mapi reported out on the meeting and reviewed the Constituency Building activity.
  
2. Preparation of 2005 Work Plans
• Review of the Version B prepared by Anna and Mapi , and discussion about baselines, targets, activities and performance measures. Mara will revise work plan and send out for group to complete.
