- County is preparing for disaster relief/ emergency preparedness training. Information will be distributed to the collaborative by the County.
- REACH 2010 Conference Report

- Should change the name of the new work group to “Community Health” rather than “Safety” work group because it more likely to cover physical health as well as physical health, economic health, and social health issues.
Promotoras Proposal Review
- Proposal
- The role of the coordinator is essential to coordinate the work at the beginning of the process. The person should be bi-lingual.
- Question about the qualification of the coordinator- Should they have a BA or the equivalent in experience?
- Promotoras stipends should be raised to $3,000
- Should consider drawing on technical assistance money to pay for Phillipa Barron’s time
- Promotoras should be in charge of the health assessment.
