Ongoing Role of 23rd Avenue Work Group
- Don’t let 23rd Avenue work group dissolve. May be opportunities to drive redevelopment. Building momentum. Strong argument for having work group to continue
- Think about how to push implementation of plan. May be happens in group, but group composition may change when it comes to implementation. Look at plan, then structure of implementation
- Other issues not being dealt with by Urban Ecology process:
- Housing conditions
- Renters issues
- Finding affordable housing
- Incorporate into bigger cluster issues
- 23rd Avenue is opportunity to put out to the city a focus on this area. Specifically around redevelopment, but if there’s momentum in corridor—could bring more attention to issues
