  • Streetscape Design Update (Jerry)
  • CDBG for 23rd Ave tree-planting (Jerry)
  • Update will be given at the next meeting concerning Street Design
  • CDBG recommend $30,000 for tree planting event.

  • May 9 will have the final copy of the 23rd Avenue Plan.

  • ESAA has received $350,000 funding from North CA Loan Fund to make four of their unit affordable

  • Recommendation on Community Benefits for the BofA Building Development. (Robert, Jerry, Lisa, Andy, Suzanne)

 

 

 

 

 

  • General discussion on the KIND and DESIGN of developments we want to see in the 23rd Ave neighborhood that promote the 23rd Ave Action Plan.

 

 

 

  • How can we respond to future developments in 23rd Ave as (1) individual agencies, (2) a 23rd Ave Workgroup, and (3) The LSA Collaborative?

 

 

 

  • The BofA Building Developers are not consistent with the 23rd avenue Plan. The Subcommittee will write a letter to the city case planner, De La Fuente’s office and the Developer to change their proposal and make it more consistent will the 23rd Avenue Action plan.

 

  • We want to follow the Urban Ecology’s design Plan in the future and give workshops to developers that wants build on 23rd avenue, so they can be consistent with the 23rd avenue Plan.

 

 

  • The group decided to hold this discuss at our April meeting.
